What is eMiner?
A comprehensive enterprise development programme designed to transform Zambia's artisanal and small-scale mining sector through innovation, capacity building, and sustainable growth.
Our Mission
eMiner is Jacaranda Hub's proprietary programme brand that focuses on supplier development, formalisation, and enterprise capacity building within Zambia's artisanal and small-scale mining sector. Built on the Hero archetype, eMiner embodies mastery, determination, and a bold commitment to transforming Zambia's mining and green economy ecosystem — empowering artisanal miners, startups, and SMEs to build sustainable enterprises that transform local value chains and enhance local content.
Programme Background
eMiner is delivered by Jacaranda Hub, a Zambian innovation and enterprise development hub founded in 2017, with a proven track record of supporting over 20,000 enterprises. The programme is supported by the European Union through the Global Gateway initiative under the GREENTech4CE Project — a EUR 22.7 million programme running from July 2024 to June 2028, supporting MSMEs in Zambia's green, circular, and digital economy sectors.

Mentorship & Coaching
Match each enterprise with dedicated mentors and coaches using GrowthWheel diagnostics and Zanga Matrics assessments.
Green Finance Access
Facilitate enterprise seed fund grants ranging from EUR 25,000 to EUR 100,000 on a 75:25 co-funding basis.
Market Linkages
Connect enterprises with 50+ corporate suppliers through B2B expos, trade fairs, and supplier-buyer matching.
Operational Improvements
Drive real on-site improvements in mining methods, equipment, health & safety aligned with circular economy principles.
